At NewGen, co-living means renting your own private suite within a shared residential property. Many suites have a private ensuite and kitchenette-style facilities, while the main kitchen and laundry are shared. The layout, furniture and facilities vary, so check the actual suite before applying.
A NewGen suite is generally an individually rented room or private suite within a shared home, rather than a self-contained apartment. Your agreement identifies the space and shared facilities you can use. Check cooking facilities, access, privacy and occupancy arrangements at your inspection.
NewGen provides a local management team to handle accommodation enquiries, applications and property questions. You apply for a particular suite. Furniture, utility inclusions and shared facilities are described in the listing and confirmed before you commit; they are not identical across all homes.
Many advertised NewGen suites include some utilities and complimentary Wi-Fi. Check the individual listing for electricity, gas, water, internet and any separate charges or limits. Compare the total weekly cost, rather than assuming every property has the same inclusions.
You can request a private inspection. Selected homes also have virtual tours or property videos. Ask about a walkthrough of the specific suite, confirm its availability and inclusions, and wait for application approval and confirmed move-in instructions before making travel arrangements.
Shared facilities create opportunities to meet other guests, but social events and organised activities are not a standard advertised inclusion. You can enjoy your own space and take part in shared living at a level that suits you, while respecting the house guidelines.
